Structural Strand Blocking Agent / Preservative Lubricant

SYNCAN #2 is a preservative lubricant modified specifically for the manufacturing of guy wires and structural strand to provide a durable, moisture-preventing barrier throughout cable strands. Guy wires manufactured with SYNCAN #2 never require field treatments for corrosion protection which results in significant maintenance cost savings.

Tested Effective

In a lab evaluation conducted by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), wire cables manufactured with SYNCAN showed virtually no signs of zinc oxidation or wire corrosion in accelerated weathering tests.
