OLL D-5

OLL D-5 is a reverse thixotropic, flexible coating for the neutralization of hydrogen sulfide on equipment utilized in the oil and gas industry. OLL D-5 is applied to the equipment as it exits the hole to convert H2S into a non-hazardous salt. OLL D-5 protects metal parts, wire rope, and wire lines from corrosion and provides lubrication. When applied to plastic jacked equipment prior to storage, it reduces the risk of H2S release. When agitated, OLL D-5 becomes thick in consistency allowing the product to cling to all substrates, reducing drippage and remaining on the surface being coated.
